How it all began...

From the humble begininnings of a simple hobby, Halimah developed her baking repertoire to include multifarious styles and techniques. Wanting to recreate the taste and texture of regular confectionary using wholly vegetarian ingredients, she explored the feasibility of vegan baking without compromising taste.

What resulted was a hit series of cakes and cookies that could be enjoyed by Vegans, Vegetarians and just about any other person. Comparable to regular confectionary in terms of taste, Halimah strives to continue her exploration further and will not rest until she has 'conquered' the entire range of cake and bread products into Vegan-friendly versions.

Currently a home-bakery servicing pre-orders, Kalavira is actively seeking placement opportunities with various existing bakeries and has plans in the pipeline to expand to a shopfront in time to come.
